What are some mind-blowing facts?

  1. Mount Everest is not the tallest mountain of the Planet Earth.

Mount Everest is the tallest mountain above sea level, but if we’re talking sheer height here, base to summit, then the tallest mountain is Mauna Kea on the Island of Hawaii.

Everest stands 29,035 feet above sea level. Mauna Kea only stands 13,796 feet above seal level, but the mountain extends about 19,700 feet below the Pacific Ocean. Over half of it is submerged.

That puts the total height of Mauna Kea at about 33,500 feet – nearly a mile taller than Everest.

2) The Fastest Animal on Earth is not Cheetah.

The world fastest animal is Peregrine Falcon. The peregrine falcon is particularly swift, capable of reaching speeds of up to 200 mph while at a dive.

Cheetahs are only “the fastest animal” if you restrict your search to land animals running from Point A to Point B. And that means that while cheetahs are capable of reaching 29 m/s under ideal test conditions, in the wild they average only 15 m/s (33 mph) and maintain that speed for just one to two seconds.

3) The world most poisonous animal is not any snake or frog

The world most poisonous animal is not taipan or cobra or poison dart frog.

Its live in ocean and its Box Jellyfish. The tentacles of the box jellyfish produce nematocysts. Once the toxin reaches the blood, blood pressure increases. This can lead to a heart attack, and ultimately death.
